International volunteer day

International volunteer day (December 5) is celebrated across the globe to mark the day when the United Nations volunteers program was created in 1970.

People of good will, as they are called, do not expect material compensation for their work, except for moral and social satisfaction, and they see helping and devoting time to others as an expression of humanity, solidarity and reciprocity, as well as the sense of responsibility for their community.
Volunteering is one of foundation stones of civil society because it revives the striving of humanity: "advocacy for peace, freedom, the possibility of choice, safety and equity for all people".
Volunteering is part of the history of almost every civilization and is based on the idea that the global does not end, but it only begins with the local.
WE WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT OUR VOLUNTEERS. THEY MAKE ORGANIZATION MORE SUCCESSFUL, BETTER AND CLOSER TO COMMUNITY. THEREFORE, THEY DESERVE GRATITUDE AND OUR SUPPORT.
